Common questions

How many homes can I save for free?+

You can save 3 homes for free. If you need more, there are one-time purchases that add 1 more, add 3 more, or remove the limit completely. Prices are set by the App Store and shown in your local currency. There is no subscription.

How do I restore my purchases?+

On a new iPhone, or after reinstalling, tap Restore Purchases in the app. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you used to buy them.

How do I get a refund?+

All payments and refunds are handled by Apple. You can request a refund at reportaproblem.apple.com.

How are journey times worked out?+

Journey times come from Apple Maps and are estimated for a typical weekday morning commute, by car, bike, public transport, or walking. They are estimates, so real trips can take more or less time. Homenea is a planning aid, not professional or real estate advice.

Why does Homenea ask for my location?+

Only so you can add the home you are standing in, for example during a viewing. The app takes one reading at that moment to fill in the address. It never tracks you in the background, and it is optional, so you can always type an address instead. You can change this at any time in iOS Settings.

Why are my homes not on my other devices?+

Everything you save stays on the iPhone you saved it on. Homenea has no account and no iCloud sync, so your homes and key places do not move between devices. Your purchases do, using Restore Purchases.

How do I delete my data?+

You can delete any home or key place inside the app. Deleting the app removes all of its data from your iPhone for good. Because nothing is ever sent to us, there is nothing else to delete.

Journey times or nearby places are not loading.+

These come from Apple Maps, so check that you have an internet connection and try again. If it keeps happening, email us and let us know which home it is happening with.
